ACO Module for short circuit and damage detection

Code:
CDN-WZ

Description

The CDN-WZ module by ACO is designed to detect short circuits or defective receivers in door entry systems. It features five independently controlled outputs, ensuring that any receiver or group of receivers experiencing a fault is automatically disconnected, preventing system-wide failures.

Once the short circuit is resolved, the module automatically restarts the affected output. This module is compatible with digital group control panels such as CDNP, Inspiro, and Familio P, and can be mounted directly in a frame or box on selected devices.

Product Features

  • Automatically disconnects shorted outputs from the main line
  • LED indicator lights show the presence of a short circuit on specific outputs
  • Automatic reconnection of the output after the short circuit is cleared
  • Prevents failure of the entire door entry system
  • Allows connection of one or a group of receivers to each monitored output
  • Detects damage to the receiver and disconnects it from the system

Outputs

  • ARK screw connectors:
    • 5 x controlled audio line (e.g., for apartments/uniphones)
    • Main audio line output (e.g., for another CDN-WZ module)

Inputs

  • ARK screw connectors:
    • 2 x module power supply
    • 1 x main audio line input (e.g., from the Control Panel)
